There’s plenty of different types of air purifiers that can qualify as the best air purifier. There are plug-in purifiers, filterless purifiers, and personal air purifiers, like the AirTamer A310. And if you’re looking for the best personal air purifiers, you should put the AVICHE W1 Necklace Wearable Mini on your consideration list for its portability and long battery life.
The AVICHE Necklace Wearable Mini is another example of something that’s ‘budget’ that can still hold its own against the more sizable competition. It’s filterless, so you won’t have to incur any extra costs, and the coverage area is impressive for something so small and inexpensive.
The AVICHE M1 has an impressive negative ions output of 20 million pcs/cm3. This helps to definitively shoo away contaminants around your personal bubble. Similar products include the AirTamer A310 which is another example of a powerful device. The battery is also good at 35-40 hours per charge, which is slightly higher than the AVICHE W3. Not the highest we’ve seen, but still good enough.
The AVICHE Necklace Wearable Mini Personal Air Purifier is able to create a protective bubble of about three feet in every direction. Impressive for a budget air purifier, and great for people who want to take it with them on road trips or plane rides, you can also check out the Dyson Cool Me for something with a little more coverage. You can also check out the Autowit car air purifier if you’d love something that can make your car smell fresh every day.
The W1 can fight and remove bacteria, smoke, allergens, and all other manners of pollutants and contaminants. In fact, it can prevent 99% of germs as small as PM2.5 from getting in. Just be aware that it only prevents them, though, it doesn’t destroy them. If you want a personal air purifier designed specifically for smoke, check out the Smoke Buddy Air Filter
One of the main draws of this wearable air purifier necklace is that it doesn’t require filters so you’ll be saving on that cost. Further, at 1.76 ounces, it’s one of the lightest and most portable air purifiers we’ve seen. Not the lightest, but nothing to complain about. So if you’d like to take it with you on a car ride, or just out walking with you, or to the office, it won’t slow you down.
Amazon reviews are good at 4.5/5 stars based on 121 reviews. One of the best things about it is the price. If you’ve ever been on the fence about getting a personal air purifier, this one’s measly $40.00 price tag should be enough incentive to at least buy it to see if they are right for you. If they are, great, if not, then at least you haven’t broken the bank. It’s not the cheapest we’ve seen, but again, nothing to complain about.
The AVICHE W1 is an excellent air purifier to get you started if you’ve been on the personal air purifier fence. It shares a lot of similarities with its cousin the W3. The drawback? The W3 is $10 cheaper. The W1 may be quieter though. So it’s really a decision you have to make yourself if you’re willing to spend $10 more.
