Overview
The Apollo City is an entry-level electric scooter that promises urban commuters a portable, reliable transport system to work. The scooter moves for a respectable 18 miles before requiring recharging and its effective mechanical braking system with a front disc and rear drum brakes supports riding in traffic.
Although it doesn’t quite hit the top speed of competitors like the EMOVE Cruiser, the Apollo City reaches a blistering top speed of 28.6 mph. Its lightweight 39-lb construction and flawless folding design enable hassle-free storage and transport. Thanks to a dual spring suspension and 8.5-inch pneumatic tires, the Apollo City provides a comfy ride on all sorts of roads, although it gets a bit bumpy on very tough terrain.
However, the City has a legacy finger throttle, which causes finger strain on long rides. Continue reading our detailed Apollo City review and find out how it compares with the best electric scooters on the market today.

Plus, it’s portable with a smooth folding mechanism and foldable handlebars. But the finger throttle can be uncomfortable and the handlebars can be a bit loose. Still, it’s got a responsive mechanical braking system and cushy dual-spring suspension that make it a great ride.
