The Anker A40 earbuds are exceptional for all-around use, making them perfect for the budget-conscious user. They’re great for commuters thanks to a long battery life, and they’re IPX4 water resistant, making them fit for active users.
The Anker Soundcore Space A40 is a lower mid-range wireless in-ear model that was first brought to the market in 2022, and it touts active noise canceling out of the box for music lovers commuting in noisy environments.
Just like the highest-ranked headphones in its range, it features LDAC to support high-resolution audio over Bluetooth 5.0. If you don’t want to go for wireless earbuds for the added audio latency, our Cord Cruncher Headphones review is worth a look.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, it also supports multi-device pairing.
Being an in-ear model, these earbuds come with silicon buds of all different sizes. And similar to the best Samsung earbuds, it comes with a dynamic transducer that aims to provide a reasonably flat frequency response slope.

our Verdict
The compact Anker Soundcore Space A40 earbuds offer a warm, well-balanced sound profile that has both vocals and instrumentals clear and well-detailed and great bass accuracy.
They also come with adjustable Active Noise Cancelling, which gives them an edge over many others. The sound quality can be customized through their Anker Soundcore app, which has a graphic equalizer with presets.
Bluetooth connectivity is stellar, with support for multi-device pairing and low tested latency of 74ms and 148ms on iOS or Android devices. The earbuds are also comfortable, as they come with four pairs of ear tips and touch-sensitive controls that are easy to master.
Listening to audio at high volume won’t disturb those around you because of its impressive sound leakage performance, and its 40.5-hour battery life is exceptional.
