The Anker SoundCore Life Q35 headphones are a superb pair of budget headphones that offer a lot of great features plus a low-bass response at a good price, but they’re not quite comfortable enough for long-term use because of their thin padding.

Released in early 2021, the Anker Soundcore Life Q35 is an entry-level closed-back, over-the-ear model that promises to deliver a completely neutral audio profile with strong active noise canceling performance for music lovers that live in noisy environments.

Similar to the top-rated headphones available in its range, it has a built-in microphone to pick up calls on the go. But, unlike most of the best over-the-ear headphones, it only features three levels of active noise canceling instead of an adaptive or automatic mode.

It also sports Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to multiple devices.

These headphones can also be connected to the output device using the included 1/8″ TRS audio cable or the airplane adapter that comes with it. And it features thick faux leather earpads.

Just like the best foldable over-the-ear headphones, it features a foldable body with a hard case to bring it on the go.

Being a newer model, the Anker Soundcore Space Q45 features adaptive noise canceling that automatically adjusts the level of ANC by picking up ambient audio through its microphone. But the older Anker Soundcore Life Q35 only has three ANC presets that have to be selected manually. However, this does result in a much lower run time of 27.8 hours compared to the Soundcore Life Q35’s 44.2 hours. Read more ↓	The Sony WH-1000XM4 performs significantly better than the Anker Soundcore Life Q35 when it comes to active noise canceling, mainly thanks to its five different built-in microphones that pick up constant noise from the outside environment to reproduce an exactly opposite static noise to cancel out the sound. Thanks to its microphone array, the Sony WH-1000XM4 is also better for taking calls on the go, as the voice capture is clearer than the Anker Soundcore Life Q35. However, the Q35 does pick up voice better than the Razer Opus headphones to take calls on the go. Moreover, the Anker Soundcore Life Q35 features Bluetooth 5.0, and it can be connected to up to two devices at the same time, unlike the Razer Opus Wireless 2020 (4.2).
