When it comes to tackling rough terrain, the ANCHEER Plus Electric Mountain Bike is one of the best electric bikes for the job, if not the best electric bike. This is because the ANCHEER Electric Bike makes use of a powerful high-speed brushless motor, thick tires, and long-lasting battery—not to mention a few additional goodies. If you’re interested in the latest in transport, you should also read about how the Solar Velomobile lets you pedal or roll to your destination.

Why We Like It – ANCHEER E-Bike

Packing a long battery life, powerful motor, excellent build quality, and thick tires—the ANCHEER E-Bike is more than prepared for offroad adventures. So, you don’t have to worry about rainy or snowy days with this Ancheer e-bike. Plus, if you want a more portable bike, then read our review of the Ancheer folding electric mountain bike with a 26-inch wheel.

Pros
  • Superb battery life
  • Great build quality
  • Has additional riding modes
Cons
  • Lacking rear lights

Performance

The ANCHEER Power Plus Electric Mountain Bike is a great bike when you want to tackle rough terrain. For starters, the tires are 26-inches and quite thick, unlike the SwagCycle Pro’s dinky tires. Its 250W motor is powerful enough to push top speeds of 15 miles per hour, though that’s slower than electric bicycles like the NAKTO Fat Tire Bicycle.

Its battery, however, is superb, matching the Merax 26” Aluminum Mountain Bike in terms of longevity. You can squeeze up to 30 miles out of the battery, with charging time hovering between four to six hours. That’s about a third of what the Elby S1 9-Speed can do, pushing 90 miles. And the BESV TRB1 can get that range to 115 miles if you really push it. There are also various modes: pedal assist, electric mode, and throttle mode. One helps you pedal, another has you do all the work or let the bike drive itself. Also, read the Angotrade electric road bike review for a bike with three modes of pedal assist and a throttle. And if you want a bike with no pedal assist, what about a bike with no pedals? That is what you will find when you read our ANCHEER electric bike review.

Design

The ANCHEER Power Plus Electric Bike has some serious strength to it. ANCHEER went with lightweight materials with considerable strength. The electric bike is made with an aluminum alloy frame and aluminum alloy pedals, with a rear hub motor. Additionally, the front fork is built with carbon steel, which is great for shock absorption, especially on rough terrain. The bike comes with rear and front disc brakes for reliable stopping power but lacks a rear light. Lastly, the lithium battery can be removed for charging. Also, why not take a look at our review of the Mobiky Genius folding bike that can collapse into half its size in 2-3 seconds?

Value

With our electric mountain bike reviews, we consider these three cornerstones for great value: battery life, top speed, and tires. After all, a mountain bike needs tough tires to handle rough terrain. Considering the ANCHEER E-Bike packs a 30-mile battery life, can reach speeds of 15 miles per hour, and has thick tires that work exceptionally well when riding uphill—we can say, with confidence, that the ANCHEER E-Bike has great value.

ANCHEER E Bike Wrap Up

The ANCHEER E-Bike gives you every reason to pick it up and take it for a spin: long battery life, solid top speeds, and excellent build quality. Its best quality has to be additional modes, providing an opportunity for exercise or a leisurely trip through the woods without you putting in the work to pedal. All it’s lacking is a rear light. We think the ANCHEER E Bike’s entire package more than makes up for it.
