The Alienware AW720M is a superb option for both left and right-handed gamers, and it has a supremely fast wireless click latency, lightweight design, and excellent battery life. However, its lack of tilting L/R buttons can be a dealbreaker for some.

Overview

The Alienware AW720M is a high-end wireless mouse that was first released back in mid-2022, and it boasts an ambidextrous grip for comfort and ergonomics during long hours of gaming.

Similar to some of the best-rated mouse models of today, it features the newer Bluetooth 5.1 standard and an additional USB-C dongle for wireless connectivity.

And just like the other highly-ranked gaming mouse options in the market, it features a 5.24-feet detachable cable that supports charging and data transfer for lower latency in games with wired connectivity.

The AW720M features eight buttons, including the scroll wheel, and weighs around 89 grams. And you can customize them, including the AlienFX RGB lighting using the Alienware Command Center app.

Additionally, the AW720M sports a rechargeable battery with 420 hours of battery life. However, if you prefer standard wireless mice for office use, visit our Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 review.

What Is Not on the Box

What the brand doesn’t always tell you…

our Verdict

The Alienware AW720M is a fantastic mouse for those looking for a well-built ambidextrous-shaped model. It features a rubber scroll wheel but lacks tilting L/R buttons. And it uses the Command Center software, which is extremely intuitive. Moreover, it has a 420-hour battery life, which is higher than most wireless mice.

The AW720M weighs 89 grams, which is great for FPS games. Tested at 0.125 ms, its fast wireless latency is excellent for competitive players. Still, it doesn’t have enough features to justify the high price tag.

If you want a better value-for-money FPS mouse, check our Fnatic BOLT Mouse review. And if you prefer right-handed mice, visit our Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless review. Moreover, for a lighter mouse, check our Glorious Model O Minus Wireless review.
