  1. I have dogs, we live in the country. My dogs gaurd in property, they bark to tell us that someone is here that shouldn’t be. Yes sometimes they bark too much and I tell them to stop. I tell them not the nieghbors. The new nieghbors that rent the house next door got one of these devices, if I get robbed, guess who is going to be sued. They showing move in to a place that has dogs in every yard in the country. My dogs are fenced in , do not run lose, have shots and I bring them in every night. Good gaurd dogs up to now

    1. Your neighbor should record your dogs and buy a loud speaker phone and play it all day long facing your house. Obviously some people are immune to the noises and disturbances their animals create. If you can admit that sometimes they bark too much, that means they are not trained to bark only when a robber comes. They are basically untrained dogs that are out of control. Where is your respect for your neighbor?

      1. I tollaly agree, where is the respect. It’s like me living next to them n playing my music loud, what’s the difference, duh!

    2. And how rude you are! Those people bought their house with good hard earned money, and you are so pompous that you believe they don’t have the right to their peace and quiet!!! Self centered bitch!!!

    3. purchase alarm system, if you do not train dog NOT to bark, your neighbors have the right not to be disturbed by your untrained dogs… think about people first before you think ‘dogs’…..this is a typical example of what is wrong with today’s society we live in… me…me… me.. and nobody else… shame on you

    4. These devises don’t “Prevent” barking??? Smart? In a true emergency situation a dog can and will still bark. Its just the meaningless barking at nothing that calms down. If you weren’t such a inconsiderate selfish person you would put vibration collars on them as soon as you found out they were being a nuisance to other people. Or maybe actually spend time with them and just train them?

    1. WOW…what a waste of money. There are more powerful units available,…you just have to search for them and of course, they will cost more money.

    2. These ultra sonic boxes are affective to certain dogs. Some just dont care or it doesnt bother them. Doesnt mean it doesnt work. Just means it doesnt work for your dog. Every dog is different. Try a citronella collar. IF a squirt bottle on stream works, the collar will.

  2. 1) For actual products c-Amazon:
    Pet Supplies
    Training & Behavior Aids
    Sonic Repellents

    2) That Sunbeam Egg is on Amazon.

    3) Re the author:
Google her name Kristi Bertucci > Images > Check out upper left hand corner-LA Based Writer.
See why I will read her “reviews” anytime!

  3. Number 6 Sunbeam Indoor/Outdoor Ultrasonic Egg Barking Device. Click on it and get a message says “Page does not exist”

  4. I clicked on this site because I have a neighbor whose dog BARKS ALL OF THE TIME hoping to find a solution. I did not click on this site to see whining about “REVIEW”. This type of crap is what’s wrong with this country.

  5. I agree with most comments here, this is click bait. I saw no review – if I just wanted a list, I could get more information from Google. I consider it my civic duty not to reward websites that bait me in, so I won’t be back – blocking this as just another useless site that wastes my time to make money from ad revenue.

    1. Actually, you know what? I just got to the text at the bottom of the page. “Gadget Review
is home to some of the best consumer reviews online on top gadgets …”

So you -as well as everyone else here- is right. I stand corrected. I was having a really good time refuting the comments, but now I see that at least this article is, in fact, missing the very things it says are provided: reviews. I’m not about to check other pages on the site, but if there are many (or even any) more like this one, someone needs to get their stuff together and either add reviews or change the byword.

      My apologies.

  6. Agree to Jay, I only need to know the most effective one after “REVIEW” or if the expert(s) recommend.

  7. Check out the brand new Doggie Don’t Device. This is a revolutionary, humane, hand held training device that is just being launched. This brand new technology has a unique sound and vibration that is audible to you and your dog. This device will quickly correct unwanted behaviors such as barking, jumping up and lunging at other dogs while on a leash. It’s amazing!

  8. I have a anti bark device. They do work, however if you have a neighbor with a dog that doesn’t have a bark problem and yours does. You are correcting there dog as well with the ultra sound. Is that fair to the dog with no problem that’s just trying to enjoy his property. I have seen this first hand. My dog would bark and there dog would run for its house full speed. So if you have neighbors with no bark problem maybe you should consider a correction collar.

    1. and what about people like me? I have up to 20 dogs in my back yard. Doggy day care and YOU DONT HEAT THEM! Ive got neighbors who’s dogs bark consistanly over 10 mins. Fence fight with the neighbors ect and even though they are ft from the barking dog, NO ONE CORRECTS the dogs behavior. And than my back neighbors will be out in their OWN yard and their OWN dog barks at them and THEY DO NOTHING! Those same dogs bark at me, my dogs and my horses in OUR OWN YARD/Property. Animal control does very little. Im looking for the best one to STOP from hearing the neighbor dogs bark at all times of the day and many many times at night! Im 5 acres away and I still hear them LOUDLY. Whats wrong with people?

  9. I agree. I was also looking for a review of the products, not just manufacturers descriptions. Gadget catalogue not review.

    1. Where does it say “review” “test” or “comparison”? Yes, our name is Gadget Review, but we don’t just review things.

          1. I’m “reviewing” the comments too. If you are going to be rude to those reading your “review” article, I think I’ll steer clear from now on. They were just stating what any reader would think when seeing the word “review” in the title!

      1. The article is titled “7 Anti-bark Devices to Keep Fido Quiet (A List)” How is this clickbait? It is exactly what it says it is. If you need a review, go find one somewhere instead of crying here like a spoiled baby. I guarantee there are dozens of pages that have what you want. Grow up and stop with the whining.

  10. Where’s the gadget review here? This is just a copy paste from the mfg’s website.

Since the writer’s bio strongly emphasizes how much of an Apple person they are you would think there would be at a least an ounce of creativity here.

    1. The word “review” doesn’t just mean critical assessment. Everyone that’s whining and crying over the article might want to figure that out someday. And yes, only people that like Apple products are creative. You sure hit the nail on the head a couple of times there.

  11. Plus, the descriptions are completely plagiarized from the manufacturer’s descriptions. I guess the writer was having one of her self-described “lazy days”.

    1. Psssst: It’s called “a list.” You see, what she’s done here (try to stay with me now) is compile information from several different sources, making it convenient for the reader (that’s you) to view all in one place. It’s a time-saving function and is also what is known as her job. She even included the word “list” in the title of the article just to help you out. If you still don’t understand I wouldn’t be surprised, as most people commenting here seem to be pretty dense.

  12. Where’s the review? Yes I see “list” in the title but this website is for reviews??? If you actually got paid for this, where do I sign up?

    1. There is more than one definition for the word. I’m just taking a wild stab here, but I’m figuring it’s not the one you think it is.
