Update: Checkout our HTC Thunderbolt first look.

The only that might be more painful than waiting for an official ship date for Verizon’s Thunderbolt might just be child birth, and even then it’s probably debatable. But alas, word has come through from online cell phone retailer Wirefly that the HTC Thunderbolt will ship March 17th.

According to their Facebook page their promising that the phone will go up for sale at 12am PST on 3/15, which is just in a few hours from now. Unfortunately, we still dont’ have a definitive price, but our best guess is that it will set you back $199.99 after a 2-year contract.

A quick refesher on the specs:

Android 2.2

4.3-inch 480×800 touchscreen

4G LTE connectivity

WiFi b/g/n

Bluetooth 2.1

aGPS

8 megapixel camera with LED and autofocus and 720p HD mode

Adobe Flash 10.1 compatible

1400mAh battery

5.5 oz and 4.8″ x 2.5″ x 0.5″
