Washing machines are designed to clean your clothing, right? So why the hell would you stand there starring at one. What if we told you it was about to self destruct? Yup, it’s the last thing we’d ever expect to see from the machine, but with some tweaking YouTube user Aussie50 was able to accomplish this. First he removed the concrete counter weight from the machine allowing it to spin uncontrollably. Next, he tossed in extra heavy items mid cycle causing the centrifugal force to fly off the handle. Watch the above vide, but be warned it’s a bit surreal.

When I first fired up the page for the Sanicare Travel Bidet/Portable Bidet, I wasn’t reading ‘bidet’ correctly, that is until I got to the description. Yup, I’m afraid to say that this little sucker is for washing your nonmentionables, and I don’t mean your underwear. Perhaps it’s my US up bringing, but I found this little gadget to be disturbing on so many levels. Check some of the marketing text:

The EXTERNAL SPRAY HEAD is intended for external washing of genital and anal areas.

The INTERNAL SPRAY HEAD is intended for internal feminine washing or douching.

The NURSING SPRAY HEAD is intended for general washing of body parts of infants and patients all-at-bed.

Even better is the chick pictured drying her hair with an almost ear to ear grin. If you so dare you can grab one for $40.

One French inventor, Romain Jarry has plans to do to dog grooming, what the washing machine did to laundry. Called the Dog-O-Matic – no, I’m NOT joking – it’s a giant machine that fits and washes dogs of all sizes at just a push of a button. A complete cycle takes only a few minutes, includes blow drying, and costs $20 – $48 depending on the dog’s size. Its inventor says he’d like to see them in the UK in the next year, that is assuming people can get over stuffing their precious pooch into a machine.
