While some may still not be as low as the ones from Friday, you can still score those coveted gadgets been eying for way less than their original price. Dell had some specials for Black Friday online and will be having much more for Cyber Monday.  A Dell Inspiron 14 R laptop with 2^nd Gen Intel Core i3 processor is going for only $399.99! The online powerhouse has one massive sale on loads of gadgets, toys and so much more! Walmart is taking deals seriously this year and started off Black Friday a bit early with sales on Thursday and their Cyber Monday scores will be just as great, too. Like Target, Wal-Mart will also have a “Cyber Week” with deals on a variety of gadgets. You can score a 32-inch Toshiba LCD HDTVs for $249 and Xbox holiday gamer bundles for $319. There’s also free shipping on orders for more than $45 on qualifying products

GoSolarUSA is the company that, after having signed a deal Tuesday, is now the U.S. distributor of the quirky Apple Peel, a device which can be attached to your iPod Touch and gives it iPhone functionality.

“The brothers who invented this Apple Peel probably ran down a list of how many ways could they annoy Steve Jobs,” said Jonathan Hudis, chairman of the American Bar Association’s Trademarks and Unfair Competition Division.

The brothers are Chinese, and their company, Yosion Technology, makes the small Apple Peel, which is made up of a dock connector, battery and SIM. It’s projected to cost $60 and wraps around the iPod Touch, giving users voice call and text message functionality on the Touch.

Of course, the device has to be jailbroken first, something that doesn’t sit well at all with Apple, which bundles the iPhone with a rather expensive two year AT&T plan, a financial drawback that can be avoided with the Apple Peel.

But the story takes a slightly shocking turn when you find out that GoSolarUSA doesn’t plan on just selling the device online, but has been in contact with Micro Center and will try to start talks with Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Fry’s Electronics.

If they manage to convince even one of these companies to sell the gadget, Apple’s reaction should be worth watching.

Well, an official announcement has put an end to the “rumor” part of Best Buy’s iPhone 4 availability. They’ll be stocking Apple’s latest smartphone come June 24th, with preorders starting tomorrow, day and date with Apple. Oh, and they’ll have a leg up on Wal-Mart, whose selling the device but not letting people pre-order it. Best Buy deals a low blow to mobile stores as well, saying that “consumers who purchase the iPhone 4 at Best Buy can avoid dealing with mail-in rebates and get help from a highly-trained staff of specialists at Best Buy Mobile.” Cause those others stores totally stink! We got you, Best Buy.

Best Buy Mobile has become a leading destination for smartphone purchases, in part because of the promises the store offers its customers: better choice of phones and networks; impartial, informed advice; straightforward pricing; and someone to be there for the life of the phone.

I thought Thanko represented the weirdest gadgets Japan had to offer until I heard about Chindogu, a concept that describes that special kind of gadget that defies all description.  You read about one such gadget right here with the Baby Mop, a onesie that featured dust mop fibers, allowing your baby to crawl around freely and clean the floor while doing so.

Another Chindogu gadget is the Hay Fever Hat, a picture of which you can see directly above.  It’s basically a toilet paper roll mounted to a hat, so that the toilet paper flows down your face and allows you easy access to a way to blow your nose, as well as possibly being able to block sneezes.  It’s enough to make you wonder if someone’s just trying to pull one over on us.

As useful as it is to have an easily reached quantity of nose wipes handy, especially during hay fever season, there’s no way to avoid the fact that anyone wearing this hat winds up looking like a complete tool.  That and the paper in question is actually toilet paper, so you’re basically wandering around with a roll of toilet paper on your head, plus the hat is chinstrapped into place, so now you need a chin strap to cart around your roll of toilet paper.

This kind of thing apparently only happens in Japan, because I’ve never seen anyone walk around with one of these on their head, and I visit Wal-Mart on a regular basis.
