Remember that massively wide Vizio TVs we told you about that debuted at this year’s CES?  To be more specific we’re referring to Vizio’s 58-inch 3-D LED CinemaWide display.  It boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio, which mimics a movie theater’s aspect ratio.  That’s right, 16:9, which is the HDTV standard, is anything but cinema worthy.

Nevertheless, at the time that we told you about this set Vizio hadn’t announced a released date.  Now, there is no specific word on the larger of the three, the 71″, but we do know that the 58″ version will hit store shelves sometime in March for, wait for it…$3,499.99 and will include 4 pairs of 3D glasses.

Vizio says that the 50″ and 71″ versions of this set will arrive sometime in the latter half of this year, which will obviously cost less and more, respectively.   However, all sets will include Google TV, allowing consumers to surf the web, access Netflix, Pandora and a variety of other online services via the Net.

Vizio has officially entered the computer market and will be releasing their all-in-one PCs and laptops this spring. Their all-in-one PCs will come in two sizes—24-and 27-inch versions—and feature a very sleek design (that’s sharp and elegant at the same time) with an ultra-thin keyboard, touchpad and a base unit.  The screen is said to be thinner than the iMac, only because the computer’s guts are sandwiched on the aluminum base. It also features stereo speakers that are located on each side of the base and a subwoofer in the power supply. There’s also an HDMI input, which allows users to use the display as a TV, but Vizio isn’t including a TV tuner with this device. Vizio also hasn’t released info on what Intel processor it’ll use in its new all-in-one PCs, but more info will probably drop closer to its ship date (around May or June).

Vizio is bringing the theater to your living room with its new XVT 3D CinemaWide TruLED Smart TV Models that includes the 50-inch XVT3D500CM, the 58-inch XVT3D580CM and the 71-inch. Each model features panoramic 21:9 aspect ratio HDTV, expanding the boundaries of conventional widescreen TVs to set a new standard in 
2560 x 1080 resolution.

Each model has the state-of-the-art passive 3D technology that’s actually used in theaters that coupled with its panoramic display provides movie buffs with the feeling of being at the movies in the comfort of their own home.

The smaller two models use Edge-lit LED backlighting, which exhibit a contrast ratio of 1,000,000 to 1, while the larger flagship model features full array “TruLED” backlighting, resulting in superior black levels and contrast, according to Vizio.

Built-in WiFi and Vizio Internet Apps (V.I.A.) are included in each model, allowing you to do more with your TV than just watch it. The V.I.A. experience makes top online content and services available at the touch of a button, including: Hulu Plus, Facebook, Flickr, Netflix, Rhapsody, Pandora, Twitter, VUDU, and Yahoo! TV Widgets. All also have a premium Bluetooth universal remote control with an integrated QWERTY keyboard for control and navigation.

While many will anticipate the arrival of these new models, Vizio has yet to release price and a launch date on its XVT 3D CinemaWide TruLED Smart TVs.

Vizio is officially entering the smartphone market and is previewing its upcoming Vizio Phone at CES. The new Android-based device may still be in its infancy with hardware and software not production ready yet, but by the looks of its specs and features, it already has a bright future.

Sporting a black glossy front with a gloss black bezel and a back that’s covered in soft material, the new phone is pretty sleek. Its 4-inch LCD screen features 854 x 480 resolution while its insides feature 4GB of storage onboard (it also has a microSD slot, Micro USB port, and HDMI port) and a 1GHz “plus” CPU. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter with flash on the back. Also featured will be an IR setup that allows users to use it as a universal remote right out of the bod.

The Vizio Phone is set for a summer release, but no info on carrier or price has been disclosed yet.
