This super innovative vacuum cleaner just got a whole lot cheaper with this new discount! The Dyson DC25 Vacuum Cleaner is a new take on the traditional design we are all used to. The main difference which is immediately evident is the Dyson Ball which contains the engine itself and gives this vacuum a very important ability; to turn on a dime. With the flick of your wrist you can easily turn the vacuum in any direction you like, which makes your job a whole lot easier. It is bagless and easy to clean as well and is designed for use on all floors. This model comes with a stretch house, telescoping wand, combination dusting brush/crevice tool and stair/upholstery tool.

The Dyson Vacuum brand is loved like no other dust sucking machine.  It’s gotta be their kick ass design, which screams opulence and sophistication – who would of thought a vacuum cleaner could have done that.  Now after 5 years of R&D, Dyson has built their smallest sucker, the DC26.  It weighs just over 7.5lbs and supposedly has a footprint that is no larger than a piece of paper.  There’s no word on a US release, but it’s supposedly available in the UK starting today for £249.99 ($405).

So what’s the point?  London, and many western European cities offer very small apartments – think NYC small.  So a large vacuum isn’t practical and just because you live small doesn’t mean you should vacuum with a dust buster.  So hence the DC26.

Holy off the freaking reservation.  What kind of hooch are the R&D folks at Electrolux’s labs smoking?

After performing a studying and proving that folks vacuum better to tunes – at 70bpm that is – they’ve decided to base a product off the research.  Enter the Electrolux UltraSilencer vacuum with “iPod” dock and speakers. That’s right.  You pop in some no name MP3 player into the dock and while you suck up Timmy’s crumbs it will spit out the music of your choosing.

From a design perspective, at least looking at these picture the vacuum looks aesthetically attractive but does it really suck (ahhh, double entendre)?
