BalloonCopter

Balloons have really gotten a bad rap lately.  To usher in a new era of balloon appreciation comes the Balloon-Copter.  Its design and premise is simple in that it is a propeller that is powered by the CO2 in the balloon. …Continue reading: Balloon-Copter Is Not A Hoax

blackwii1020

In what will continue to baffle me as to why certain regions get certain bundles, just announced is a new Wii bundle headed to Europe.  Nintendo will be releasing an all black Wii bundle on November 6th in the UK and November 20th for other European territories.

The limited edition bundle will include all black matching Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and MotionPlus peripherals, and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.  In addition to this bundle Nintendo is releasing an all black classic controller pictured above.

No prices have been mentioned as of yet but Nintendo of America has said that they have no plans to bring this bundle stateside.

Tekken 6 PS3 Slim 250GB Bundle: Europe Only But Not The UK

October 6th, 2009 1:39 PM | by Jeff Bordeaux

Tekken Again

This fall is just chalk full of console bundle news.  Today’s bundle is the PS3 Slim 250GB coupled with Tekken 6.  So far it’s only slated for European territories but apparently not the UK according to SCE UK.

Pricing is at 349 Euros and the bundle will be available by Christmas.

I don’t understand why all these bundles are so continent specific.  Wouldn’t they do well here in the US?  Either way, it’s shaping up to be a strong holiday season for Sony and the PS3 Slim.  Notice I didn’t mention the PSP go.

Zumba Phone: An All Voice, No Button Cell Phone (video)

February 3rd, 2009 2:42 PM | by Christen da Costa

Take this one as you will, but I’m throwing a huge bucket of skepticism on this story.  A company (IA Technology) out of Hereford, UK is claiming that they’ve produced the first all voice controlled cell phone.  No dialing, no texting, no number pad.  The device itself looks wonky to say the least, and the thing that goes over your ear looks more paper cut out than Bluetooth headset.  Oh, and contacts aren’t stored on the phone.  Nope, you upload them to their Zumba Lumba website, which the company claims is 100% secure. Didn’t Danger make similar claims Paris Hilton?

The Zumba phone is due out this Holiday with no price in sight.
