For $1,895 we’d expect to get the whole table, but that’s hardly the case with the Three Sixty Table from The Future Perfect. Yup, it’s basically an upside down skateboard, minus the board of course and in this particular instance the glass. You’ll need to find that on your own, which calls for at least a 40-inch diameter piece of whatever you decide to stick on their. Keep in mind that it will need to be relatively heavy, otherwise there won’t be enough friction for the wheels to work accordingly. The base is made from German Oak and while we’d hoped that the trucks and wheels – the skateboard part of this setup – we’re sourced from Tony’s Hawk garage, they’re not. Come to think of it, if you have any wood working skills, you could easily assemble this yourself.

They might be called coffee tables, but the reality is they’re often stacked high with your monthly dose of unread magazines. And while it might pay dividends to show your visitors that you’ve got a cerebral side to your good looks, it’s never a good thing when the stack of New Yorker magazine’s takes over the center piece to your living room. The Drop Desk Coffee Table incorporates a carbon steel frame, but more importantly a center that can pull double time as a magazine or book rack. You just drape the pages over the plywood slices and the magazines will hang freely and out of the way.

Sorry, no word on a price.

It’s constructed out of a whopping 25,000 LEGO pieces. You better hope you don’t lose one piece if you want to finish this thing. It’s so functional, yet so unique! I kinda wish they had gone with a more LEGO color, though, like bright red. Just spice the thing up a bit, you know?

There’s something inherently beautiful about a clutter free desktop. Embracing that beauty is the aTable. Using the tables four legs to channel any and all wires, the aTable is great for those that have a ton of room to spare, but might be a little big for those cramped for space. Either way the concept is of novel design and I’d love to have one in my apartment.

The aTable is made from a glass reinforced plastic and has a very neutral but satisfying visual approach. As purely concept only at this moment, let’s hope that this or something like this makes itself available to the public sometime soon.

You gotta be seriously tight on space to consider this folding dining table. Its legs fold up and can be hung as a mirror. But are you really saving space? A mirror, any old mirror for that matter, would already be hanging on the wall, which doesn’t take up floor space. A table, if you needed to move it could be folded up and placed in a closet or on a porch.

But alas, I concede, it’s still a cool and unique idea. I don’t know if you can buy it, but a company called Porada makes it.

What’s better than a Star Wars foosball table? A LEGO Star Wars foosball table, but of course. That way if any of your players get ‘injured’ you can easily replace them. And believe me, you’re starting line up is sure to get benched due to injury when you’re talking snap together plastic parts.

This thing is just plain whack looking. With its giant punching bag base and its overall odd aesthetic I just want to kick it over. What makes it “somewhat” desirable is the fact that it packs two power ports and two ethernet inputs to keep you charged and connected.

I dunno, maybe if this thing was hanging from the ceiling and I could head butt it, I would think it’d be cooler. I could see some type of cyber cafe buying up a bunch of these but that’s about it. No info on pricing or availability.

Break out the chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers! The ‘Fire’ coffee table features a mini fireplace on its surface, which comes in your choice of an ebony high gloss, colored or natural stone finish. It burns some sort of bio-ethanol, which I can only assume is free of smoke and other carcinogens since it will be at the center of your living room. Pricing starts at about $4,300.
