USB hubs have always been about convenience, but until recent none have been quite so versatile as the Lacie Core4 and Core7 with design from Sam Hecht.

The Core4 features 4 USB ports and a mini USB plug for attaching cameras and other mobile devices. Thanks to Hect’s innovative design, the flexible USB plugs are sheathed behind a match box design that slides open to reveal all. The Lacie Core4 is available now for $9.99 and comes in gray, orange and blue.

Next up is the Core7 which also includes a mini USB plug like the Core4, but includes 7 USB ports for extra expandability and an external power supply for charging your mobile devices and other associated USB items. The Core7 is also available now in gray only and is $19.99.
