What at first glance appears to be a defunct fighter jet of some sort is in fact the fastest fuel cell vehicle on the planet. The Buckeye Bullet 2 (it’s older brother is electric and slightly faster) achieved a top speed of 304mph. It’s powered by a custom 700hp electric motor and fueled by a combination of hydrogen and oxygen batteries. Me want to ride in..drool.

LaCie definitely isn’t short on variations of their products. This past Wednesday they officially announced their LaCinema Black PLAY and RECORD, which was followed the next day with the launch of their LaCinema Classic Bridge. It offers the same features as the LaCinema Classic, which includes the ability to playback photos (JPEG), music (MP3) and video (DivX, XviD) on your TV over HDMI, but lacks an internal hard drive. Instead you can stuff in your own internal HDD or connect any external HDD via USB 2.0. It’s available now for $99.99 and includes a wireless remote.

The economy might be in the dumper, but that hasn’t stopped one man from entering space. On April 25th, Steve Eves will launch the world’s largest model rocket into the atmosphere. It’s powered by nine motors, measures 36-feet long and weighs 16,000 pounds. Controlled my remote, the rocket will reach a max altitude of 3,000 to 4,000 feet and will put Steve into the history books.
