Still miss your Sidekick?  Well, good news.  The phone, now known as the Sidekick 4G, is heading back to T-Mobile sometime soon – we still don’t have an official release date, though we know it will arrive this Spring – complete with the Android OS and includes a touchscreen.  But that we already knew and told you about last week. What was still in question, though, was the price.  You’ll be able to nab the handset for $99.99 after signing a two year contract and an unlimited data plan.  Opt for a cheaper data plan and you’ll end up shelling out $149.99 for the device.

Finally, it sucks to live in the UK.  Okay, the UK has crappy weather and some horrendously bad food, but those looking to purchase the Nintendo Wii come April 1st will find themselves faced with a £20 increase over the original retail price.   Why so?  The Pound has taken a beating and if Japan’s Nintendo wants continue to make money they’ve gotta charge retailers the difference, or at least so says a Nintendo spokesman.

“In the two years since we launched the Wii, the pound has declined 43 per cent against the yen,” he said. “As a result of this currency fluctuation, we’re having to raise the price we charge retailers for the console. We’re doing this very reluctantly, but it’s the result of circumstances beyond our control.”

I’d like to say ‘I hope we don’t see the price increase reflected in the US’, but honestly, I don’t give two hoots (no you can’t pollute) about the Nintendo Wii.
