LG officially launched the Prada II smartphone today. I know, I know, you’re sick of hearing about it. But LG and Prada have a little surprise, the Prada Link. It’s a watch with built-in Bluetooth and it’s specifically designed to work with the Prada II. Looks like you can only receive text messages on the Link, there’s no voice support (I so wanted a Dick Tracy watch), and it charges thanks to a special adapter that will only work with the LG Prada II’s charger (talk about stupid). To make matter worse a 2.5hr charge will only grab you 48 hours of standby time (wonder what happens when you use it) and that’s even factoring in the low power consuming Mono OLED screen. Price? Not sure, but I’m on the hunt.

The LG Prada II, which is less of an iteration and more a copy of the first Prada phone, will hit stores shelves in the EU come Tuesday, November 13th. LG plans to kick things off with some sort of swanky event in downtown London.
In case you forgot, the LG Prada II will sport a full QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen, HSDPA, a 5MP camera and a full HTML browser. Sorry, no word on price.

At over $800 you’d have to be a style snob to sacrifice Apple goodness (i.e. iPhone) to opt for this touchscreen phone. But where there’s a label there’s an idiot willing to over spend. Expect HDSPA connectivity, touchscreen, some sort of one touch slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera and a full HTML browser.
The LG Prada II is set to go on sale in Europe at the end of October or beginning of November.

Nothing is confirmed, but this is apparently the new Prada II cell phone with slide out QWERTY keyboard. No specs or release date, but sleek nonetheless.
