Tight on space?  The Boxetti units are what trundle beds are to small ass apartments.  Each unit slides open to reveal more than meets the eye.  Take for instance the above pictured wall unit.  It rocks a lounge chair nook work space or alternatively a slide out table as well as a few other compartments.

Antro’s solar vehicle is far more than meets the eye.  Sure it can drive up to 20km per day on solar power alone, but what you can’t see is that the car is modular and according to renders and specs – no actual image were shown – it can be split into two separate smaller vehicles, or conversely combined with another for a six passenger auto.

The inside is laden with wood and the steering wheel is like something ripped out of 1980′s arcade machine.  And don’t forget the solar panel roof.

So far 1.5 million Euros has been invested in the Antro Solo since 2002 and they plan to bring the vehicle to market by 2012.

See you later LG Versa, hello Fujitsu Separate Keitai F-04B.  Much like the Versa, this phone rocks a modular system that allows its user to remove the keyboard and add on other parts.

But, Fujitsu has taken the modular concept many steps further by adding a 3.4-inch touchscreen and the ability to use the keyboard (via Bluetooth) when not attached to that handset.  And about those modular parts.  There seems to be only one other right now, and get this, it’s a Pico Projector that has a 2 hour battery life and 854 x 480 resolution.  And it don’t stop there, the phone has a 12 megapixel camera, which probably makes it the most robust handset we’ve ever seen.

Japan’s DoCoMo officially announced the Fujitsu Separate Keitai F-04B, so it does exist, just not in the US or EU.

And there we have it.  The LG Versa will hit Verizon’s retail stores and website on March 1st.  The price of the phone, after a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in-rebate will be $200.  Included in the package will be a removable QWERTY keyboard, 3-inch touchscreen, GPS, 2MP camera and an HTML browser compatible with Flash.

Customers can personalize their LG Versa phones based on their messaging needs – either attach the QWERTY keypad to their phones or leave the keypad at home. The LG Versa supports productivity tools – such as Visual Voice Mail so they can prioritize their messages – while Verizon Wireless’ VZ NavigatorSM service transforms the phone into a navigation device at a fraction of the cost of most GPS systems.  In addition, the LG Versa is compatible with Mobile Broadband Connect to allow customers to use their phones as a modem by linking their laptops to their phones to establish a broadband connection anywhere within Verizon Wireless’ Mobile Broadband rate and coverage area.

I swore we’d see the LG VX9600 Versa unleashed at the MWC this week, that is before the official pics were leaked yesterday.  As suspected the phone incorporates a modular accessory system which includes an add on keyboard and a gamepad that looks beyond cumbersome to use.  I mean really, how would you play a game or knock out an email with the depicted form factor.  Specs for the soon to be antiquated handset include a 3-inch 240×480 touchscreen, web browser, Bluetooth, media player, 2.5mm headphone jack (LOL), microSD card slot and 2MP camera.

The LG Versa is said to be hitting Verizon retail stores March 1st for $200 after a 2-year blood sucking contract.  The ‘snap ons’, at least not the game pad, will not be included and will cost you $30.
