<p>On Sunday, Verizon and Novatel will officially launch their PC770 2-in-1 PC Card and Express Broadband Card.  It&#8217;s not exactly the gadget news that we all lust after, but since it might solve a purchase decision for those working in the IT business, it&#8217;s worth a mention.  If you&#8217;d like to buy one you can grab it for $99.99 after a 2-year contract signing at Verizon Wireless&#8217; website this Sunday or give them a ring a ding.  Otherwise you&#8217;ll have to wait until August 2nd when it will show up in store.</p>

<p>Sprint has officially joined the subsidized Netbook race and it looks like they&#8217;re off to a running start. Unlike <a title="Verizon Netbook" href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/2009/05/verizon-hp-mini-1151nr-netbook-price-and-release-date-unveiled.html">Verizon</a> and <a title="AT&amp;T Netbook" href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/12/radio-shack-offering-99-acer-aspire-one-but-theres-a-catch.html">AT&amp;T</a>, who offer a Netbook for $200 after you sign up for their mobile broadband, Sprint and Best Buy are selling the Compaq Mini 110c-1040DX netbook for $0.99.  You&#8217;ll have to commit to two years of their mobile broadband, which costs $59.99 a month and provides up to 5GB of total bandwidth.  In order to snag this deal, you&#8217;ll need to head into your local Best Buy, but you might wanna give them a ring and make sure they&#8217;ve got it.</p>
<p>The 1040DX includes a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor, 16GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch LCD, media card reader, Intel GMA 950 video card, WiFi b/g, mobile broadband chip, 3x USB ports, 3-cell battery and XP Home.</p>
