Goodness gracious, so capacious! Ca·pa·cious–adjective – capable of holding much; spacious or roomy: a capacious storage bin. And now I know. This cool looking portable hammock transports like a beach chair and would make you a true pioneer if you brought this to the beach or a BBQ.

Using an accordion style steel frame, the hammock’s 9 1/4′ x 3 1/4′ surface accommodates up to two regular sized people with limbs outstretched. And by regular sized I mean, the whole thing only supports 300 pounds so no Free Willy action will be permitted.

The hammock has a soft nylon surface and includes a carrying bad and an inflatable pillow for additional comfort. Hopefully my patio furniture-centric roommate will buy one! Reviews on Amazon however reflect shoddy craftmanship. Lame!

On sale now for $150.

I guess it was only a matter of time of until the Floby (yes, the hair cutting machine from the 90s) technology was applied to hedge trimming. The Garden Groom features a 4-inch concealed stainless steel rotary blade that chops even the most challenging of shrubs and then using an on board vacuum and bag, sucks them up and annihilates them into 1/10th of their original size. Five hours of charging will provide up to 35 minutes of grooming, which might be suitable for smaller homes but too little for landscapers and professionals.

You can score one for about $100.

How sweet it is. To finally trump the Garden Nome comes the awesome Lawn Jawa. Crafted from a high quality solid plastic resin, this fully painted Jawa will stand guard no matter what the weather forecast.

Standing at a foot tall, only Star Wars purists will be able you if this Jawa is to scale or not, but I don’t care-I like this little guy no matter how “historically” accurate he is.

It actually reminds me of those tiny cross-dimensional beings from the Phantasm movies. The Tall Man!

You can pre-order this Lawn Jawa now for $35, and it will ship on December 9th.

Soon your Roomba automated vacuum cleaner will have an outdoor buddy, the Automower. Laden in solar panels, the mower can recharge its battery when the sun shines or return to its base station for an off the grid fill up. Lawn capacity maxes out at .5 acres, which should be adequate for most Americans, and its 3 rotating blades are designed to cut the grass so fine that it decomposes quick enough to doubles as a fertilizer. Hands and limbs won’t get severed thanks to a few security features installed, such as 4 digit PIN code to turn the mower on and off, an auto off switch if the mower is picked up and an auditory alarm system. Keeping the mower on your property is as simple as installing a proximity wire.

No word on price or when this version of the Automower will hit retail
