In what appears to be a more advanced iteration of the USB Emoticon Face I wrote on this past September, the ChatMan is not something I want to see first thing in the morning. Recently unveiled at last week’s Toy Fair, ChatMan has an LED mouth (can’t say that everyday) with movable ears, eyes, and arms.
Designed for kids using IM, ChatMan will take what’s being written onscreen and convert the text using 3 personality options with over 500 actions and 25 customizable moods. Whoa now right?
The ChatMan will be available sometime in April and will be priced at around $62. After hearing the name ChatMan, I can’t help but think about how much “cooler” an Eric Cartman emoticon doll would be!

The Samsung Gravity Messaging Phone was just unveiled by T-Mobile. It features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard layout (which takes its name from the first six letters characters on the far left of the keyboard’s top row of letters) and allows users to maintain easy and constant connections within their circle of friends and acquaintances.
The Samsung Gravity, which will be available as of November 17, supports instant and video messaging, text and multimedia. It has 1.3-megapixel camera that snaps both stills and video, and also provides for extra storage space via a microSD card slot. T-Mobile also offers Bluetooth support headsets, car kits and stereo headphones for wireless connectivity.
So what are you waiting for? Get on line now and be the first on your block to own a Samsung Gravity new instant messaging device. Better bring along some food and supplies however, as November 17 is still a few days away.
