			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/eslick-ereader.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-15478" title="eslick-ereader" src="http://www.gadgetreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/eslick-ereader.jpg" alt="" width="160" height="212" /></a>A no namer called Foxit plans to introduce an e-reader next year that will undercut the competition by $130.  Called the eSlick, it measures just .4-inches thick, includes a 2GB SD card (accepts up to 4GB SD cards) and MP3 player.  It&#8217;s OS is of a Linux flavor, which has proved to be a relatively reliable platform.  The screen is a 800&#215;600 eInk display with 4 levels of gradation and the rechargeable battery purportedly gets up to 8,000 page views on a single charge.  The eSlick will be available for $229, $130 less than Amazon&#8217;s Kindle, but with that price comes some concessions, such as no built-in WiFi.</p>
