While I generally loathe FM transmitters, could Belkin have something decent up their collective sleeves? Entitled the TuneCast Auto Live FM Transmitter, it uses GPS to find your location, then in conjunction with the Clear Scan App on the iPhone tunes into the clearest FM frequency. Does that really sound any better? An FM frequency is an FM frequency right? How is this gonna make the sound any better? At any rate we’ll have to wait and see as I am quite skeptical right now. The app (free) and the transmitter will arrive this fall from Belkin for $80.
