Imbibing a cup of whiskey is just as simple as pouring and raising a glass to your lips, right?  Wrong. For the true connoisseur it takes a much more refined approach.  And part of that approach is the correct ice, provided of course you like your booze chilled with a hint of water – adding a bit of water to scotch can open up the flavor.

Last year we saw the ice ball mold which allowed you to instantly craft a ball of ice, that is assuming of course you had a chunk of ice to start with.  However, it cost a whopping $184 and that was for the smallest size.  Hardly a deal or a warranted purchase for the occasional drink, though it would bring some significant cache to your home made bar found in your dingy basement.  Fortunately, there is another resolve and a much cheaper one at that; the Roller Rock Glass.  It costs just a mere $21.95 and not only includes a food safe ice-ball mold, but a specially designed glass that forces the ball to roll around in the glass, supposedly unlocking the the aromatics of your drink.  Even better, since the ice is of a spherical shape it should melt more slowly since there is less surface area, or something to that degree.

Tossing back a few cold beers and remembering your evening is a walk in the park.  Factor in a game of beer pong, otherwise known as BayRoot on the East Coast, and you’ll probably have a hard time remembering your entire evening, let alone keeping score.

The Scorzi – yes, that is an abundantly witty name – is a coozie meets score keeper.  It’s made from stainless steel so even the drunkest of players should have a hard time destroying this drinking apparatus.  A foam insert keeps your beer cold, but that’s the hardly the mainstay of this drinking tool.  A ‘home’ and ‘away’ drinking score ring allows you to keep tally of the points.  It’s limited to games that cap out at 21, but in drinking games there are no rules, so you can just bend them accordingly.  They say the Scorzie can only hold a 12oz can of anything, while beer bottles will fit a little loose.

Chances are the Scoozie will never be a run away hit, but it’s a novel approach to a novel problem.  You can order one for $12.99, or two for $10.99 each.

By now you’ve probably amassed a stack of shot glasses.  While most are designed to serve as a memorabilia they probably all look the same and what were once a pair are no longer.  Logical, because they’re shot glasses and if you’re taking shots you’re probably getting drunk.  Which means accidents and accidents mean broken glass and misplaced items.

And while we can’t promise that any of the aforementioned misfortunes won’t happen by drinking from the Doomed Crystal Skull Shot Glasses, we can guarantee that you’ll take a fair bit of care not to lose or break them considering their overall awesome quotient.  In fact, you’ll probably become far more intoxicated if you perform your shot ritual from these since they hold a whopping 2.5oz of liquid, which is pretty reasonable considering a 1.5oz version couldn’t possibly boast the same level of detail.   And much like the movie “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, you might obtain super natural powers, or just sure death.

Water is big business.  This is well known.  I personally am a very fickle water drinker.  Being that it’s my main form of liquid intake (glug, glug), I’m always looking for cool water solutions (hehe).
