Still seeking that 3D experience but not ready to plunk down a few grand on a compatible LED TV?  Fear not my furry friends, Brando has you covered.  The electronic retailer is hocking the Gadmei P83 PMP Player, which claims to be a 3D PMP sporting an 8-inch 1280×768 that doesn’t require those pesky 3D glasses.  Course, finding compatible video and images will be entirely up to you since there clearly isn’t a store, at least that we’re aware of, that sells such movies.  However, it should be compatible with your favorite brand of 3D capable point and shoot camera, which are still fairly few and far between, but in existence nonetheless.  Storage is a scant 4GB, though it is compatible with USB sticks and SD cards.  If you’re willing to take the dive, you can grab one for $179.

Camera and guns have a good amount in common – you know, the whole point and shoot.  So it’s no surprise to see a red dot sight for a camera mount.  Officially called the Wildlife Photography with Tactical Four Reticle Sight, it has four reticles (Point, Circle Point, Circle Cross, Cross) and can switch between a red and green laser.  If for some reason you’re not down with things being centered you can move the point around according to your liking. 

It should fit on most SLR hot shoes and costs $46 from Brando.

I love stuff like this!  This 13 inch message banner lets you program up to 6 phrases in BMP or dot matrix patterns.  The patterns call also be rotated independently through the access controls on the side of the banner (see pic).

All USB, the banner charges and inputs text via your computer as well as letting you display text 3x times the width of the panel for a 3 page scrolling message.  Allowing for 4 levels of brightness there are also some animated transitions you can choose from.  No word on how long the charges lasts.

Sometimes, not all the time, I’m so lazy I can’t be bothered to get my ass off the couch to turn off a common household lamp.  Enter the ‘Wireless 4-Channel Remote Switch ON/OFF’.  Stupid names aside this is one smart and useful gadget.  It sits on top of any power outlet and lets you wirelessly turn on/off whatever device you have plugged into it using the included remote.

Taking cues from an organ and a sewing machine, this USB footswitch lets you control 3 of your inputs with your itchy trigger feet.  Totally programmable, you can add more switches if you need them(?), but there are unfortunately no sound effects (besides your own) associated with each pedal push.

Plug and play with no drivers necessary, this USB peripheral would be a weird addition to your set-up and probably a waste of $45.  The choice is yours.

I admit, this one surprised me when I first found it.  It’s a bit of a puzzler that someone would actually test this and discover that, it’s indeed possible to make not only a computer keyboard but also an optical mouse out of bamboo.

Trust Brando to sell a toy that makes me say “why didn’t I think of that”.  The domino dropping truck removes the painstaking process of laying out the rectangle shaped, topple-me-over toys.  You can choose between a straight line or set the steering to a curve.

As much as I love me some dominos, and clearly remember playing with them when I was a kid, part of the satisfactions in watching them topple over was knowing the time it took to set them up.  The Action Domino Wonder – that’s the name – sort of takes away the fun and hard work that’s required to have fun with the probably century if not older toy.

Brando has made a “why didn’t I think of that” gadget in the form of their solar powered bluetooth headset.  Providing infinite standby time under direct sunlight, you can also charge it via USB through your computer or AC wall plug.  You can even buy two of them and use them simultaneously thanks to their stereo matching capabilities.  Why would you want to do that I wonder?  It would definitely look weird, but you’d at least have sides of your head displaying a bluetooth headset so you don’t look like you’re talking to yourself.  On sale now for $67 a piece.

Now, I’m really kicking myself for purchasing a Logitech diNovo Mac Keyboard.  Why? If I held out a bit longer I could have picked up Brando’s Slim Keyboard with Smart Touchpad.  With the flip of a switch the touch sensitive numeric keypad can be converted into a multitouch touchpad with left and right mouse buttons.  On top of all that it’s RF wireless and just 18mm thick.  Yours for $69.

Apparently, Brando has no product that is too gimmicky or too useless for them to push.  Their SATA hard drive dock does the usual and also includes a built-in speaker, which can play music from one of the two USB ports.  It also features a microphone in jack for VoIP calls and is compatible with both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives.  59 smackers.

Why you’d buy this let alone use it is anyone’s guess, but the Brando SISO Tablo for Laptop turns any ordinary Vista or XP laptop into a tablet…sort of.  The device hangs over the bevel of your laptop’s screen, uses TABLO annotator software and my best guess is that it detects and records the position of the pen.   What’s kind of neat is that the stylus also doubles as a regular pen.  So when you’re taking ordinary written notes on paper and have the sensor clipped to the top it magically transfers them to your computer.

Ok, so it’s actually kind of cool and for just $99 why the hell not?
