Western Digital Concocting 20,000 RPM Hard Drive

I don’t know what the performance implications of a 20,000 rpm hard drive are, but I’m assuming quicker read/write times assuming buffering, cache and all that techie stuff is up to snuff.  Bi-tech didn’t have a ton of details and no release date as of yet, but the 20,000 spinner is housed in a 3.5-inch case and is reported to run silent.
