<p>Earlier today we saw the <a title="Sony Vaio AW Series" href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/10/sony-newest-laptop-is-a-desktop-killer-the-aw-series.html">Vaio AW Series</a> roll out, and now HP is jumping on the 18-inch hype with the HDX 18T.  It&#8217;s rocks an Intel Core2 Duo processor (2.2 &#8211; 2.5Ghz), 18.4-inch LCD (1920&#215;1080), 2-4GB of DDR2 RAM, 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, 250-640GB hard drive(s), webcam, fingerprint reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, Blu-ray ROM and DVD burner, TV Tuner, and 8-cell battery.  It&#8217;s a bit fatter than the AW series, though, weighing in at 8.94lbs.</p>
<p>The HP HDX 18T starts at $1,550 and should ship October 14th.</p>
