ASUS announced today that a new line of their B series notebooks will be getting Boston-Power’s Sonata batteries as standard equipment, which promise a retention of 80% battery health even after three years of use. The B series includes the 14.1-inch B43 and 15.6-inch B53. Specs include the choice of Core i5 or Core i7 processors, ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 or integrated Intel graphics, up to 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, and ATI Eyefinity for using two additional displays at once.

The B53 is available now starting at $1,099. Pricing and a release date for the B43 are currently unavailable.
