Everyday we see some new USB powered gadget that opens our eyes to the power of creativity. Today is no different. Here we have some USB powered shoe warmers shaped like sleeping dogs.
Anybody who lives through seasonal coldness will know the power of some warm booties. My feet can never seem to stay warm in my non-heated house. Thanks to USB to wall plug adapters, you could charge these up before heading out in a snap. No word on price or availability.

It’s probably safe to assume that more people would own ladders if they could store them effectively. Especially those tight on space. Condensing down to 2.5 feet during storage the ladder will extend to 12.5. Assembled using aircraft aluminum and steel connectors, this ladder is quite the engineering marvel. No word yet on price or release date. Depending on what the price ends up being, this could be a great gift for the Bob Vila in your family.

Got roommates? Then you’re probably missing some food, drink or beer. Ah, but there’s a resolve. While it won’t thwart off the master criminal with a hack saw, or small pocket knife, the Fridge Locker will prevent unwanted friends, roommates and siblings from ganking your food during a late night munchy run.
It measures 7.5 inches wide x 7.5 inches tall x 11 inches deep and costs just $20. It doesn’t include a pad lock, but that’s good, because then you can choose between a combo or key version depending on what kind of forgetful you are.

How sweet it is. To finally trump the Garden Nome comes the awesome Lawn Jawa. Crafted from a high quality solid plastic resin, this fully painted Jawa will stand guard no matter what the weather forecast.
Standing at a foot tall, only Star Wars purists will be able you if this Jawa is to scale or not, but I don’t care-I like this little guy no matter how “historically” accurate he is.
It actually reminds me of those tiny cross-dimensional beings from the Phantasm movies. The Tall Man!
You can pre-order this Lawn Jawa now for $35, and it will ship on December 9th.

I have yet to try out any of Moshi’s voice activated alarm clocks, but according to their press release with the push of button you can activate up to 9 settings simply by speaking a command(no programming required), which includes setting the time, alarm, snooze, and asking for the temperature.
The palm sized Moshi Travel Alarm Clock is available in pink, blue, white, and black at their website and will be available at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores come mid to late November. Price: $25.

Ever wish your bathroom was more like one you’d find in an upscale boutique hotel? Dress up your favorite homeless guy as a bathroom attendant and buy this automatic soap dispenser from SimpleHuman and you’re just about there.
Powered by four AA batteries the dispenser has an LED that lights up to show you that your hands or whatever else is under the sensor, and that soap is about to discharge. There’s also 4 settings to determine how much soap you want to dispense.
Priced at $30, this is yet another great gift idea for the germaphobe all up in your area.

With the new Star Trek movie coming to Blu-Ray next week it only seems slightly appropriate to post on this StarShip Enterprise Chandelier. Embracing a kind of cool, kind of cheap design aesthetic, this unofficial Star Trek light might end up looking better in your workshop rather than your dining room.
All this awesomeness can be yours for only $189. Does anyone think this is cool? Shatner?

I love the absolutely simple but brilliant products. Such is the case of the Aqua Jar. It attaches to the universal screw top of any water bottle and instantly turns it into a pitcher. It’s made from biodegradable and recyclable plastic and comes in orange, graphite and frost. I’m not sure where you can purchase one but sign me up. Looks like a good holiday gift as well.
