Etch A Sketch Clock (video)

This is great. It’s an Etch A Sketch hooked up to a laptop and a few robotic dials that automatically draw the time. Every minute it takes a bow to erase itself.

White Board Clock

Whiteboard Clock
Scheduling meetings and projects has never been easier then with the TaskWatch Whiteboard. Simply scribble in the due times and whamo, you’ve got 12 hours of tasks to follow. Chose from the ‘creative’ or ‘female team’ version. Nothing sexist about that, right?

More info here and available for purchase at the Art. Lebedev Studio only.

In 200 Million Years This Clock Will Remain Accurate

Atomic ClockHow they know this is beyond me, but according to U.S. physicists they’ve crafted a clock that will neither gain nor lose a second in the next 200 million years. The unnamed clock even out performs the U.S Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology clock, which promises to keep time accurate to the second for 80 million years. So what are these clocks used for? Deep space navigation where a slight error could disrupt and destroy a mission. Other uses include synchronizing telecommunication networks ‘that some day lead to things like hands-free driving in satellite-guided cars.’ If you ask me, it all sounds like a bunch of smoke, but I’m not a scientist.

Sonic Boom Valentines Day Clock

Sonic Boom Valentines Clock
I wrote about the Sonic Boom alarm clock back in March ‘07.  Just like Apple, and the rest of the retail world, they too decided to jump on the Valentines band wagon.  It’s essentially the same as its brethren, but comes wrapped in a pink heart with multicolor LED lights.  I can think of other uses.  Can you?

Available here $31.

Clocky the Runaway Alarm Clock Is NOW Available for Purchase

Clocky the Runaway Alarm ClockI just got an email from the makers of ‘Clocky: the alarm clock that runs away and hides to get you out of bedâ€? (deep breath, panting…). Back in the dizay (yes, I did just say ‘dizay’) it was simply a prototype. So if you’re still snoozing 20 times before you crawl out of your cotton cave – like me – then here’s one more thing to get you out of bed. Course, if you’re really like me, you’ll turn it off with one eye open and then get back into bed.

Available here for $50 and comes in almond white (yum), aqua and mint.

Earthquake Alarm Clock

Sonic Boom Alarm Clock
No, it won’t warn you of an impending Earthquake, but it will make your bed shake like one. I guess you could show your bed partner how prophetic you are, but that would just be darn cruel. You know what else would be darn cruel? Setting this thing at max volume, which is 113 decibels (an aircraft taking off has a 100 decibel rating). Probably more effective than the Flying Alarm Clock or the Axbo.

Available here for $40.

Blowfly (Flying Alarm Clock) Alarm Clock Available for Purchase – sort of

Flying Alarm Clock
Remeber The BlowFly Alarm Clock that we featured last year? It had a ton of fan fare, but there was no where to purchase it. Thanks to a commenter on the post, we now know where to purchase a comparable model. We’re assuming its real but the only way for us to find out is if one of our gracious readers abroad orders it and tests it. Any takers?

Available here for $51, or 299KK (Denmark’s currency), and it looks like they might ship to the US!

USB Clock

USB Clock

Is it a clock with built-in USB ports, or is it a USB port with a built-in clock?  In either case it appears to have 3 USB ports, but don’t expect anything fancy, as it sports USB 1 only.
