October 24th marks the release of the highly anticipated Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth. Unlike the other games in the Civilization series, this one exclusively takes place in the future traveling through space and founding colonies.

The game will release on PC at $49.99, which starts out about $10 cheaper than most AAA titled video games. Never the less, you don’t even need to pay that. Today the pre-order showed up on Green Man Gaming, where it qualifies for a 25% off coupon discount dropping the price an additional $12.50.

Note: The coupon code is applied at checkout and ends soon!

It’s surprising there are no pre-order bonus DLC’s offered on this title. This bucks the trend of most AAA games coming the fall like Dragon Age: Inquisition and Evolve, both of which offer exclusive content for pre-orders. Since there are no bonus DLC packs for pre-ordering, the only real reason to pre-order would be if you could pick up a discount like this from GMG, as it’s unlikely to have a discount until well after its release date.
