Everything now a days is smart. We have smartwatches, smart cars, smart tablets and everything under the sun. Big Ass Fans decided it was time to launch a smart fan and released their Haiku SenseME Smart Fan. The Haiku fans was always a stylish accent, but now it’s stylish and smart thanks to an on-board computer and sensors that let it know when to turn on if the temperature rises in your home. As the world’s first smart fan, it can also adjust speed according to presences.
It also knows when it gets darker and will adjust the light accordingly, as well as knows when you enter or leave a room, turning the fan on and off automatically. Its companion app will also learn your comfort preferences, tailoring fan speeds adjustments to what ever you find comfortable. You can also customize and schedule an alarm with any combination of light, fan and sound with the app. And like the original Haiku, its integrated LED seamlessly integrates into the fan, with the LEDs digital dimmer including 16 unique brightness settings. It’s currently available for pre-order, with end of July shipping.
