In with the new and out with the old!

Earlier today Lenovo made an announcement that their newer and more powerful Yoga Tablet 10, now with the HD+ moniker, has been made available for sale on Lenovo’s official website. Lenovo is discounting the newer Yoga Tablet HD+ by a modest 8% off ($30 off) to entice early adopters, or in this case, return buyers who may have been a bit disappointed with the previous incarnation of the Yoga Tablet 10.

The newer HD+ model comes with a higher resolution 1920 x 1080 Full HD display, compared to the older Yoga Tablet 10 which sported the now entry-level 720p display. Beyond the higher resolution IPS display upgrade, you’ll now enjoy significant performance increase in the form of an upgraded processor to the speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, clocking in at 1.60Ghz.

The OS gets a slight upgraded from Android 4.2 to Android 4.3, though KitKat is not yet available (though we’re assuming it’ll now be able to handle it without a problem).

Thus far the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is priced slightly higher than when the 1st generation was introduced, but with the aforementioned release day discount from Lenovo, this makes the 18-hour battery life 10-inch tablet significantly more enticing for anyone looking for a modern Android tablet.

For those not needing the latest and fastest, Lenovo is also discounting the older Yoga 10 (and Yoga 8) tablets. Here’s the best deals from their store as of writing:
