This Friday Dark Souls II makes its PC gaming debut on Steam. But wait, never mind that release date! Bandai Namco has confirmed that the game will be available on Steam at 3 P.M Pacific later today. Just in time for eager gamers, PC digital retailer Green Man Gaming is running a 25% off pre-order coupon promotion for the next few hours slashing $12.50 off the $50 list price on Steam keys of Dark Souls II.

Note: Act swiftly, GMG’s coupon code ends Friday, April 25nd at 9 A.M. Pacific.

Not only will the PC installment get you a cheaper price than it currently sells for on the Xbox 360/PS3 console versions ($59.99) but you’ll get a visually superior game. Higher frame rate, texture quality, and resolution will be had on the PC version. No need to limit yourself to 1080p, the PC version will support any resolution your system can handle.

Pre-ordering also gets you several digital bonuses including:

  • 10 Early Access Weapons and Shields
  • Official Dark Souls II Artbook (PDF)
  • Dark Souls II Digital Comic Book
  • Original Game Soundtrack (35 tracks)
