You probably won’t be surprise with this news, but of course Ubisoft will be bringing out a Deluxe Edition of Watch Dogs.  The highly anticipated Open World RPG Watch Dogs finally got an official release May 27th release date from Ubisoft just yesterday.

Predictably, only minutes later gaming retailers had the pre-order up for sale. While every platform shares a $59.99 list price, the PC digital version of Watch Dogs actually got a discount at three retailers.

Discounts aside, the more interesting news is the bigger emphasis Ubisoft is placing on the Deluxe Edition of Watch Dogs. MSRP for the digital deluxe will run you $69.99 — which in return you’ll be given access to plenty more items, 4 packs with additional gameplay time, and 1 additional pack with an in-game outfit and extra perk.  For the Deluxe Edition, here are the best deals.

For Standard Edition:

The discounts are all somewhat limited. The massive 36% price drop at the Poland based G2A is almost unheard of for a pre-order and has no set expiration date… but that said, prices tend to fluctuate at G2A based on demand, so the deal could expire if demand got too much for them to handle.

Generally DLC packs included in Deluxe editions of games won’t have a set “gameplay time” to it, but it looks like Ubisoft is making a bigger emphasis on this by placing the additional gametime for each mission packs. Now, gameplay time is of course an extremely subjective thing so it’ll be interesting to see if Ubisoft ever make note on how they come up with these estimated time frame and if they match up with the average results from gamers.

Adding up all the gameplay time listed by as a feature for the Watch Dogs Deluxe Edition brings us to about 2 hours of extra gametime. Are the extra content worth the additional $10 in MSRP?  Let us know what you think in the comments.

FYI: After discount you can argue the extra gameplay and items will cost you $8, so you can also look at it from that perspective.
