As if there aren’t enough ways to show your world on social media, Polaroid has released one more social media-centric device on the market with their Socialmatic Camera. The Android-based camera lets your connect to your favorite social media apps, like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and more, to share your photos instantly. It has the appeal of the classic Polaroid cameras but has been updated with today’s technology and features a 14-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixal rear one. Photos can bee seen on its 4.5″ touchscreen LCD display, while built-in Wi-Fi lets your sure to social media sites in seconds.
And if Wi-Fi isn’t available, the camera pairs daily with your smartphone via Bluetooth. You’ll also be able to instantly print 2″x3″ photos on ink-free paper with ZINK Zero Ink printing technology for smudge-proof, water resistant and tear resistant photos. But before you print, you can also touch up, edit and add text, clip art and more to photos, personalizing them with fun features. When ready, you just press the Print button and the cam rear will print out the sticker-backed Zink photo in less than a minute! You’ll be able to save photos to its 4GB of internal storage or to a MicroSD card. The Socialmatic Camera is said to hit stores Fall 2014, just in time for the holiday shopping season, but no word on pricing yet.
