tail lights

The Kickstarter campaign for Tail Lights adds lights to a horse’s tail to keep them and the rider visible during any type of weather or lighting levels. The LED light strips feature pre-set or optional colors that cascade through a horse’s tail for high visibility, day or night. Riders have to navigate busy roads to make it to a trail and most of the time (depending on the time of year), find themselves returning at dusk from their trail ride without any adequate lighting. Horses can’t been seen by cars until it’s sadly too late and Tail Lights aims to change that.

The lights are placed on a specialized velcro tail wrap with the lights draping through the horse’s tail for maximum visibility. But they also serve aesthetic value and look beautiful at night when seen. The Kickstarter campaign also includes the option to purchase their custom-designed storage/saddle bag for those who don’t have one already. The lights have a battery life of more than 15 hours and can last as long as 26 hours depending not he setting. They’re also a great accessory for rodeo and performance group thanks to custom colors and lighting patterns. But carriage drivers can also benefit from the lights – just attach them to the back of the carriage for a brilliant and bright effect! Mounted police riders can utilize the blue and red lighting patterns to stand out in a crowd. The light also works on a variety of horse breeds – if it has a tail, it’ll work! Pledge $295 ore more to get a multi-colored unit that has every color offered in the base, available at the push of a button.
