Lightstrap

You might think your new iPhone 5s takes great pictures with its fancy dual-LED flash, but it really doesn’t make that much of a difference since low-light pics still haunt your camera roll. But the new case from Brick and Pixel called the Lightstrap will change all that for you. It’s a flash-boosting case for the iPhone 5 and 5s and provides a 10 times brighter flash that that of the 5s and provides a diffused array of Led lights, acting as a ring flash for your phone. And the great part about it all is that you don’t have to do anything extra to trigger it since it senses when your phone’s flash lights up and will instantly start working. You can use it with any photo app just as long as it can use flash, allowing you to take much better pictures.

The case also has its own built-in 1000mAh battery so it won’t drain your phone while in use and promises 500+ flashes or 30 minutes of video lighting on a single charge. You can also customize it too with six different color temperatures and seven levels of brightness to best match the ambient lighting. There’s also two buttons on the Lightstrap, which allow you to cycle through the color temp and brightness settings. The case itself is sleek at 16mm with nicely tapered edges so it doesn’t feel bulky. An $87 pledge will get you the Lightstrap from Kickstarter with the first ones being shipped in April 2014.
