AMAZON HDTV DEAL
If you’re looking for a large set with absolutely superior picture performance, a Panasonic plasma is an excellent starting point. Today you can grab a 60-inch Panasonic TC-P60VT60 3D Plasma Smart TV with all the latest bells and whistles and two pairs of 3D glasses for $1,749. That’s not a mindblowingly large discount off the current next best price of $1,799, but you also get 2% back in rewards – effectively an additional $35 off if you’ll shop at Amazon again in the future. It’s a beautifully minimalist set design and comes from the line that c|net dubbed “the best performing TV [they've] ever seen. They state its picture quality equals or bests that of a Pioneer Kuro – a TV easily twice as expensive.

DELL HDTV DEALS
Dell has become well-known for its eGift card TV bundles in the past, and this year is no different. While they’re not offering any such incentive on the 60-inch Sharp AQUOS LC-60LE550U LED set, it’s still at the lowest price we’ve seen by over $70 after coupon. The Sharp is ideal for someone looking for a straightforward name-brand set with solid picture and few additional gimmicks. If you’re looking for a large Smart TV and don’t mind foregoing native 3D capability, we found an LG and two Samsung models with gifts cards offering you effective savings of over $100, assuming you’ll be a repeat customer. The LG is available now, while the Samsung models are scheduled to go live tomorrow (Monday). Even with the enormoug eGift card bonuses attached, both Samsung models are at cheapest ever prices.

BIG BEST BUY HDTV DEALS
As we saw last year, Best Buy has good deals on large sets from name-brand manufacturers. In particular, 65-inch and 46-inch Samsungs are cheapest ever by significant chunks of money. Interestingly enough, the WiFi Smart TV 46-inch is sold via Best Buy’s eBay account – a nice little bonus for those in the know.

BUDGET BAREBONES HDTV DEALS
These days if you’re willing to forego integrated Internet connectivity and “Smart” features on your TV, you can save quite a bundle. And if you decide you DO want to stream Netflix, adding that ability is as easy as picking up a $50 Roku, WiFi Blu-ray player, Apple TV, Chromecast…the list goes on. At the larger end of that list, we’ve got TVs ranging from 39 inches to 50 inches and all below $400. In the popular 32-inch size class, we found three TVs that come to $150 or less each once gift cards and rebates are taken into account. In previous years, TVs like these would sell out in minutes once they dipped below $200. If you’re looking for a simple small model, there’s even a 24-inch Insignia (Best Buy in-house brand) HDTV for only $80 that has all positive reviews, save one from an owner who tried to use it as a monitor for a MacBook Pro Retina. 0 of 8 people found that review helpful.
