Like the M4 that we saw a few months ago, the M3 Sedan has been outfitted with a similar front and back fascia. There is also the same protruding bubble in the hood and a roofline that seems to have received a “number 1″ trim down the middle with a pair of clippers. Really there is nothing bad I can say about the new M3, with the exception that it’s still a sedan and not nearly as exciting at the M4.
Power wise, leaks points to a twin turbo inline 6 that produces well north of 400 ponies. Color options should be exclusive the M series cars, and those that are purists can opt for a 6-speed manual over the 7 or 8 speed dual-clutch. 19-inch 5 spoke wheels are stock, though I’d expect enthusiast to replace those with larger ones, especially since 20s have become the status quo.
Expect a full and official unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show, which starts January 13th.
