The PS4 console released today, and at last you’re able to play Killzone: Shadow Fall (currently well-reviewed and a showcase piece for the PlayStation 4’s capabilities). You could go out to a local GameStop and pick the game up for $59.99 OR, if you’re willing to wait for shipping, NewEgg is offering Killzone for 25% off on their eBay storefront.
Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4) is $44.99 with free shipping (everywhere else is $59.99). NewEgg has a total of 3,800 units available for sale. They’ve sold only 182 in the first hour and a half, so the offer should last most day Friday, November 15th and perhaps into the weekend. If they do not sell out, the deal will end November 22nd at 11AM Eastern.
If you buy now the free standard shipping will get the game in your hands on Wednesday, November 20th. There’s no point in getting expedited shipping. Even the “One-day” shipping option only pledges to get the game to you by Tuesday, November 19th and costs an extra $19, negating the savings.
You’d be hard to top Killzone: Shadow Fall in the FPS graphics department right now. Generally, most reviewers will give it a thumbs up in that department. Thus far, critic reviews have been relatively positive, the game garnering a 74/100 Metacritic score. The shortfall appears to be a sub-par single player storyline, though multiplayer and graphics are rated well to counter this.
