Bryan Singer is back – he was at the helm the first X-Men movie and it didn’t turn out well – to direct the next X-Men movie, “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.  The trailer, which was released yesterday, is some what convoluted.  What is clear that Wolverine must travel back in time (perhaps inside of Prof. Head) to save the day.  It would also seem that Professor X eventually does the same as he faces a younger form of himself, though it’s impossible to tell what is real and what is not, at least with respect to the world they exist in.

I have yet to see the last Wolverine movie – I will –  but every X-Men film, with the exception of the second X-Men flick and X-Men First Class, has been something akin to selling out.  And heck, even those two aren’t exactly a great representation of the comic book series. Personally, I’m waiting for an R rated X-Men.  Gore, blood and nudity are a large part of the equation for a success comic book film.  That and a half way decent script.
