  1. The biggest advantage of NVIDIA is its exclusive access (which was previously available to all in their private beta) to the built-in encoder. NVENC is an impressive encoder, but only ShadowPlay can use it for non-workstation GPUs at the moment.

    You mentioned GPU encoding but remember that Intel has QuickSync which is also GPU encoding for Intel CPUs w/ iGPUs. You mentioned XSplit which has this feature and Action also has this. Although as far as I know, no other decent software has DVR functionality like this which makes ShadowPlay a clear winner in that respect.
