Listen up Hulu Plus users: you can now stream TV shows to the Chromecast from your iPhone starting today.  That said, Hulu Chromecast integration has long been available on the iPad.  So why the delay on the iPhone?  I don’t know, but perhaps it was merely a UX issue given the handset’s much smaller screen.

According to Hulu, the Hulu Plus integration with Chromecast will effectively turn your iPhone into a remote control allowing you to control video directly on your TV.

When the Chromecast first launched the demand was so high that it was sold out for weeks (if not more than a month) on the Google Play Store and  Now, according to Amazon’s product page, the Chromecast is in stock and shipping.

Of note, TheVerge says that we might soon see HBO Go Chromecast integration next.  If so, I’d expect the demand for surge again for the budget friendly device.
