Roku's Android App Adds Video Streaming

Last month, Roku launched their Play On Roku video support for iPhones and other iOS devices. Now they’ve released news on their blog that they’ve just updated their Android app to support Play On Roku video streaming. This now means that those with Roku players can stream  the videos that they have taken with your Android device, to their Roku player with the Play On Roku feature. Right now, video playback is supported on select devices, including the Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Nexus 4, and Nexus 7 (2012 edition), and requires Android 4.0 or later. For better results, they recommend that you also use a WiFi router that supports 802.11N. Download the updated Roku Android app in the Google Play store.
