Looking at the new Lexus LF-NX Concept, you’ll notice that it has some pretty bold exterior styling cues with its creased sheetmetal throughout its exterior. The crossover has some wild styling cues, something Lexus intentionally added to change the preconceptions of their usually safely designed crossovers. Lexus’ best-selling car in the States is their conservative RX midsize crossover and this new LF-NX Concept wants to change things up a bit. Even if half of the concept’s aggressive styling ends up in a production version soon, it might appeal to those consumers who are also looking at a BMW X1 or Audi Q3, making them give the Lexus another take. The LF-NX Concept was no doubt designed to generate some talk about its styling – whether it’s over the top or just the right amount of bold. And they’re reaching their goal, gaining Frankfurt showgoers’ attention.
