Under Armour likes to think of athletes wearing their gear as superheroes in whatever sport they play. Probably a reason why they introduced their highly popular Alter Ego collection that features superhero compressions shirts. Now the sportswear brand is keeping that superhero trend going with their latest addition to the collection – the Under Armour Alter Ego Highlight Gloves, which are comic book-inspired gloves for football players who want to sport their favorite superheroes.
The gloves meet all the requirements for NFHS, NCAA and NOCSAE standards and gives players a little styling edge. They also come with the company’s Grab Tack palm technology that is supposed to improve performance. They also features the same CompFit technology as their UA Highlight cleats, giving your wrist super-streamlined, locked-in support, which helps with control. They are made with ultra-light, super-breathable stretch woven fabric and its Power-Catch technology secures thumbs and index fingers to reduce twisting. Similar to their superhero compression shirts, the gloves rock symbols from both Marvel and DC Comics like Superman, Batman, Spiderman and Captain America. The gloves can be purchased on their online store and sell for $64.99.
