Getting arrested isn’t fun, obviously. But what if you’re unlawfully handcuffed for no good reason? Most likely, you won’t do anything if you’re illegally restrained with handcuffs, fearing punishment if you fight or question the law. But now you don’t have to with the creation of the TIHK – Tiny Inconspicuous Handcuff Key that’s currently a campaign on Indiegogo. Since there was no handcuff evasion solution that really worked (looking for something appropriate to pick the lot under duress seemed out of the question), the idea for the TIHK came about.
The TIHK is basically a small clip that attaches to your clothes so it’s ready when you get into any sticky situations. It’s minimal form factor easily goes undetected when searched and detailed, while it’s designed to fit all standard “peerless” single and double-lock handcuffs. All you need to do is have it ready on an area of your clothes that’s easy to grab when you’re in handcuffs (think the back of your pants or shorts) and you’ll be able to evade detainment from law enforcement, military, and security professionals. But remember, if you’re arrested for doing something illegal, you’re on your own. The TIHK is to only be used to counter illegal detainment and in accordance with all local, state and federal laws by trained law enforcement, military and security professionals. The makers of the product discourage improper use by civilians is not endorsed or encouraged. Get a 3-pack if you pledge $15 or more.
