Next time you try to capture a picture of Miley Cyrus losing her composure, you might want to consider getting one of these first: the Smartphone Spy Lens.
It’s hardly a new concept – we first saw it emerge in the photography world – but one that seems more fitting for smartphones. The Spy Lens incorporates a mirrored lens that can capture photos at a 90 degree angle from where ever your pointing your phone. The lens, which is a bit bulky and hardly clandestine, attaches to the back of the phone thanks to a magnetic ring that adheres around the camera’s lens. Because of this, the Smartphone Spy Lens can be easily and quickly rotated 360 degrees in any direction, allowing you to point it up, down, left or right. And once you remove it your phone, any phone (Android, iPhone, or Windows) instantly returns to its slender shape.
Color me skeptical, but according to Photojojo, who is selling the $20 apparatus, the picture quality won’t degrade. Even if it does, you’ll still end up with a picture that you probably wouldn’t otherwise have the balls to snap.
I don’t live in Hollyweird, but this is a must have for me.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
